Early morning tornado damages parts of Breaux Bridge
BREAUX BRIDGE - 30 homes and businesses were damaged in St. Martin Parish after a tornado ripped through a three mille long track this morning. The national weather services said that it is an EF 1 tornado. Officials in St. Martin Parish say the damage is mostly falling trees and roof damage to homes.
Deputies are still out on the road to warn drivers about debris and damage through the area. There is still a threat of high water on the roads and several road closures are still in effect for areas of St. Martin Parish
