BATON ROUGE - Firefighters said an arsonist set fire to a vacant home overnight in Baton Rouge.

Members of the Baton Rouge Fire Department were called to 2475 Huron around 1:30 a.m. today. When they arrived, they said flames were already coming out of the building's roof.

It took almost an hour to get the fire under control, but firefighters were able to keep it from spreading to nearby homes.

Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set in the hallway, and quickly spread to the attic.
