DUI case unravels
MOAPA, NEVADA- The case of teen accused of drunk driving and causing a crash that killed five members of a family unraveled in Nevada and the charges were dropped. DNA evidence proved 18-year-old Jean Ervin Soriano was not driving the SUV that rear-ended a van carrying seven people during an Easter Weekend trip. Prosecutors say Soriano was drunk but later determined he wasn't behind the wheel. They say Alfred Gomez was driving. After the crash, the Nevada Highway Patrol took blood samples from Soriano but not Gomez since troopers thought he was the passenger.
