Three people were arrested for sneaking methamphetamines into the Livingston Parish Detention Center in a Bible.

The Sheriff's office says 28-year-old Melissa Lennox went into the jail with the Bible.  They say she gave it to 30-year-old Harvey LeBlanc, Jr. Lennox is charged with bringing contraband into a penal institution.  LeBlanc has been in jail since October of 2009 on a list of charges, including creation of a meth lab.  He's now also charged with attempting possession of narcotics, and trying to have them smuggled in.

35-year-old Nikki Rushing admitted to giving Lennox the Bible with the drugs in it. She is charged with helping bring the drugs to the jail.
