Drug treatment for Redmond O'Neal
LOS ANGELES - A judge says the son of Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett is making excellent progress in a drug treatment program and he appears to be making the right decisions. The judge delayed O'Neal's sentencing for a probation violation as long as the 27-year-old keeps doing well in the program. O'Neal told the judge he is studying for his GED and confronting his demons through counseling. He was arrested last year for heroin possession. O'Neal was ordered into inpatient rehab but if he relapses he faces up to six years behind bars.
