Driver sentenced for leaving kids on bus
NEWTON, NEW JERSEY- Its three years probation for a school bus driver for leaving two special needs kids on her bus unattended for 45 minutes during a hot summer day.
Kimberly Moumblow must also undergo a mental health evaluation after she pleaded guilty to cruelty and child neglect. Moumblow left the 7 and 9 year-old boys on the bus without it running and the doors and windows locked.
The kids were overheated and distressed and weren't discovered until their parents called the bus company wanting to know why their children had not been dropped off.
