PLAQUEMINE - Authorities say a person jumped out of their vehicle before it collided with an oncoming train Thursday.
According to the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred in the 58000 block of Bayou Road. Sheriff Brett Stassi tells WBRZ that the driver managed to get out of their vehicle before the collision.
Authorities say the victim was taken from the scene in a private vehicle. There is currently no word on the extent of that person's injuries.
