Driver cited for I-110/I-10 crash
BATON ROUGE - Police cited a truck driver for having an unsecured load after a big rig wreck on I-110 Monday.
The 18-wheeler overturned on the I-110 South entrance ramp to I-10 West, completely blocking the ramp.
Although the truck was hauling paper, HAZMAT was called to the scene because some gas leaked onto the highway.
The Baton Rouge Fire Department said the trailer will have to be emptied and the ramp will remain shut down for a while. They asked drivers to take alternate routes and avoid the area.
