Driver arrested for DWI after single vehicle crash
DENHAM SPRINGS – State Police say one person was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a crash in Denham Springs Sunday afternoon.
A spokesperson for Louisiana State Police said the single vehicle crash happened on Walker South Road Sunday afternoon. One person received minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Police say the driver was impaired and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle ran off the side of the road and overturned.
Police have not released the name of the driver, but said they were arrested for DWI. A blood sample analysis is still pending.
