Driver accused of smashing into bus has $19,000 bond
LIVINGSTON - The man accused of driving under the influence and slamming into a bus loaded with children remained in the Livingston Parish Jail overnight Wednesday on a $19,208 bond.
Brandon Vince faces twenty charges following the wreck on Tuesday. He was booked after being released from the hospital. He was booked on drug, restricted license, and multiple vehicular negligent inuring charges.
Deputies said Vince crossed the center line and hit the school bus around 8 a.m. More than a dozen students were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Vince sustained major injuries in the crash.
