BATON ROUGE - The Department of Public Works will begin tree debris pick-up in Baton Rouge Monday morning, according to DPW environmental engineer Bob Hearn.
Hearn is asking for residents to put tree debris in a seperate pile from other trash. DPW can only pick-up one type of material at a time. Hearn says DPW will be back to collect other trash at a different time.
Hearn suggests that residents keep trash piles away from driveways, utility poles, mailboxes and fire hydrants to prevent damage during trash pick-ups.
