Other casinos down $1M after L'Auberge's open
BATON ROUGE - L'auberge Casino raked in more than $13 million in its first month of business, more than Hollywood and The Belle of Baton Rouge casinos made in the same month combined.
Thursday morning, Louisiana State Police reported their monthly profit findings to the Gaming and Control Board. Hollywood Casino cashed out at $7.3 million; a 21.3 percent loss compared to August, and The Belle made $4.5 million which is a 24.5 percent drop from August.
The numbers also show 167,281 customers walked into L'auberge, 76,978 into Hollywood and 71,291 into the Belle.
