BATON ROUGE - City-parish leaders said several streets around downtown Baton Rouge will close starting Thursday for a movie shoot.

The closures will take place over two weeks for the filming of "Search Party," according to Mayor Kip Holden.

"We welcome our friends from Gold Circle and Universal back to Baton Rouge," Holden said. "The last film that they made here was 'Pitch Perfect,' a musical comedy that cost $17 million and grossed more than $112 million at the box office. We hope that they can build upon that success with the filming of "Search Party."
