Dow gives $200,000 to sponsor Knock Knock exhibit
BATON ROUGE - Dow Chemical announced Friday they would give $200,000 to sponsor an interactive learning exhibit at the planned Knock Knock children's museum in Baton Rouge.
Spokesperson Amy Cook said Dow's contribution would cover the Fish Tales exhibit at the museum, which is still in the planning stages.
The museum is planned to be built in BREC's City - Brooks Community Park facing Dalrymple Drive. The museum will be 30,000 square feet and feature 18 - 20 hands-on interactive exhibits for children up to age eight.
Museum organizers raised $6 million last year for their construction budget, which is when they began approaching groups to sponsor individual exhibits.
