Doubleheader turns into double trouble for LSU baseball at Florida
GAINESVILLE, FL - The LSU Tigers went to Gainsville looking to reignite a spark on their baseball team; instead, they fell further behind in the SEC standings, dropping a pair of games to the Florida Gators on Saturday.
Florida took game 1 of the series 2-1 with a walk-off home run by Justin Shafer.
Game 2 wasn't as close, as the Gators scored 3 runs in the 5th and 6th innings, and took the win 6-2.
The Tigers will try to salvage a win in the series as they play game three against the Gators at noon on Sunday.
