A couple in Livingston Parish has been arrested, accused of trading illegal drugs for stolen merchandise.  According to authorities, Donald and Sheila Arnold, who live in Denham Springs,  would trade with people who stole things like air conditioners and skill saws.  The couple then allegedly took some of the items to pawn shops and traded them for money.

Authorities searched the couple's home and found several thousand dollars worth of stolen property, and a small amount of meth.

Several burglaries and thefts have been cleared because of the arrests.  The investigation is ongoing.
