Dog doo dust-up
SAN MARINO, CALIFORNIA- The doggy doo got too deep for the Mayor of San Marino, California.
After the outcry for flinging dog poop onto a political opponent's property, Dennis Kneier resigned.
Residents claimed he smeared their image. But Kneier remains on the city council with another member taking over the mayoral duties.
Kneier was seen on surveillance video tossing a bag of dog waste onto the walkway of his political rival Phillip Lao.
Lao recognized who was on the video and called police.
Kneier admits his actions were inconsiderate and disrespectful and in his resignation letter says the event continues to be embarrassing to him and the city of San Marino.
