BATON ROUGE- Republicans and Democrats might not be burning the midnight oil in Louisiana, but they are working to make sure people know: vote Tuesday.
Monday night, Democrats were making calls on behalf of Barack Obama. Republicans said they were having volunteers make calls from their homes for Mitt Romney, but not staffing phone bank.
"This state is already predicted to be for Romney, so action is in the swing states," said Joyce LaCour a political volunteer with Concerned Veterans for America.
Louisiana is not one of the swing states. Here, 8 electoral votes are on the line. Usually, those got to the Republican candidate. But, not always.
Louisiana voters elected Bill Clinton.
Most people surveyed by WBRZ News2 Monday evening said they weren't worried about their vote not being heard, and they were heading to the polls Tuesday.
