Documents: NY murder suspect said, 'Stab 'em all'
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - New York prosecutors say a man charged with killing three women over the last 20 years told investigators, "You stab one, stab 'em all."
According to court documents released Monday, Lucius Crawford also said he stabbed women for no reason. According to transcripts offered by prosecutors, Crawford said, "Something just came over me and I stabbed them." In one case, he blamed "demons."
The papers were released after Crawford pleaded not guilty in Westchester County Court to murder charges in the knife killings of two women. He is also charged with a stabbing murder in the Bronx.
The 60-year-old has already spent about half his life in prison for other, nonfatal stabbings of women.
A judge ordered a mental health exam.
