Disturbance at detention center where 32 escaped
NASHVILLE, TN - A disturbance has broken out at the same Nashville juvenile detention center where more than 30 teens escaped earlier this week.
Tennessee Department of Children's Services spokesman Rob Johnson says about 20 teens - some of whom were involved in Monday night's escape - are roaming the campus, refusing to go back to their dorms.
Johnson says police have formed a ring around the center's perimeter fence and none of the teens have escaped the facility.
The incident began late Wednesday night and Johnson says authorities are still trying early Thursday to convince the teens to return to their dorms. Johnson says he's unaware of any injuries.
Thirty-two teens escaped from the detention center Monday night through a weak spot in a perimeter fence. Six of them remain at large.
