Diane Sawyer left ABC's "Good Morning America" today but not before an emotional moment that recalled the biggest story of her time on the show.
Sawyer met with children born after their fathers were killed in September 11th terrorist attacks. The show first brought them together on the first anniversary of the attack.
Twin girls who are now eight years old brought Sawyer roses.  Sawyer will replace Charles Gibson, who is retiring as "World News" anchor. Sawyer will be replaced by ABC's chief Washington
correspondent George Stephanopoulos (stehf-uh-NAHP'-uh-luhs) .
Stephanopoulos told Sawyer he was scared to death to follow her in
the job.
