Deville motorcyclist killed in crash
PINEVILLE - State police say a 55-year-old Deville man died when his motorcycle struck a van in Rapides Parish.
Trooper Scott Moreau says Chris Adams was westbound on La. Highway 28 east of Pineville Wednesday when his motorcycle struck the rear of a van that had stopped to make a left turn.
Moreau says Adams was taken to Rapides Regional Trauma Center where he was pronounced dead.
He says the driver of the van was wearing her seatbelt and was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
