LIVINGSTON PARISH- A Livingston Parish Deputy discharged his weapon hitting a suspect Saturday evening just outside of the Denham Springs City Limits, according to Livingston Parish Sheriff's Spokesman Perry Rushing.

It happened on Carew Harris Road just before 6pm.

The suspect who was shot by the Deputy received non-life threatening injuries.
