Deputies re-capture escaped trustee
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies said they re-captured a trustee who escaped from a job site in Mid City Baton Rouge Wednesday morning.
It happened in the area of 2200 America Street, according to EBRSO. Deputies said the trustee, Kelvin Stampley, was in jail for a handful of midemeanors, including theft and marijuana possession.
Investigators said they found Stampley at his girlfriend's house on Lake Calais.
