Deputies post road warnings during afternoon storm
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies posted high water warnings for a half-dozen streets and roads throughout the parish as heavy rain moved through the capital area Tuesday.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office said Greenwell Springs had problems with high water at the intersections of Moniticello, Monterrey, and Central Thruway.
There were also high water warnings for Dalark Ave/Maplewood/Glen Oaks, D'Juanna/Mickens/San Juan, and Hartford/Lansing/Atlanta.
DOTD also warned drivers on I-110 to watch for standing water in the southbound lanes at Capitol Access.
