A man accused of using counterfeit money has been arrested a second time for the same crime.

Louis Gene Santiny, Jr. from Grand Isle, La. was arrested in Terrebonne Parish after deputies say he was trying to use a fake $100 bill at a hotel.  Employees at the hotel told investigators, Santiny tried to use a fake bill before.

He is currently on federal probation for using counterfeit money.

The Sheriff's office said there was a copier in his truck that he used to print the bills.

Santiny admitted to making the counterfeit bills and passing them at numerous places in Terrebonne Parish and Lafourche Parish. He admitted that he printed $100 bills and also attempted to pass them in Galliano.

He remains in the Terrebonne Parish Jail on a $300,000.00 bond.
