Deputies: man stole from grandmother
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies arrested a Denham Springs man who is suspected of stealing his grandmother's checks and cashing them for personal use.
Detectives said Brice Cantrell stole several checks from his 82-year-old grandmother.
According to investigators, Cantrell cashed one check in Livingston Parish and two in East Baton Rouge Parish. The checks cashed in East Baton Rouge totaled $420.
Cantrell faces charges of forgery and theft.
