Deputies looking for two using stolen checks
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies released photos of two people they said used stolen checks at East Baton Rouge Parish stores last month.
Investigators said the two people, a man and a woman, used checks stolen from the victim's mailbox to make purchases as three different Walmart stores between April 14 and 17.
Deputies said they bought groceries and gift cards.
Anyone with information about the stolen checks or these people's identities should contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at 225-389-5000.
