AMITE - The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said they are looking for information regarding three or four suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred last week.

TPSO reports that the robbery happened at around 1:00 a.m. on May 13 at a residence located on Hwy 51.

Deputies said two subjects were sitting in a blue 1994 Blue Taurus in front of a residence when they were approached by three or four masked men with guns.

The masked men pulled the victims out of the car, robbed them, and drove away in the car, according to deputies.

Law enforcement said the vehicle was found abandoned on W. Factory St. in Amite and is currently being processed by authorities.

TPSO said anyone with information regarding the alleged armed robbery is urged to contact them at (985) 748-8147.
