DONALDSONVILLE - Sheriff's deputies in Ascension Parish are looking for information on a man accused of stealing several iPods from a Donaldsonville department store last month.

Deputies said the man was captured on security cameras as he entered the Donaldsonville Wal-Mart shortly after it opened on a morning in early October. He was able to open the lock on a secure storage bin that contained electronics and stole nearly 20 iPods of various colors valued at more than $3,000, according to detectives.

Major Hanna of the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office said the suspect made several trips to load up on the mp3 players before he left Wal-Mart in a red Chevy Tahoe SUV.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the APSO at (225) 621-4636 or by texting their anonymous tip line from any cellular device at 847411.
