PRAIRIEVILLE - Sheriff’s deputies in Ascension Parish are looking to identify a pair of suspects who damaged a vending machine during the robbery of a Prairieville car wash last week.

APSO’s Major Kevin Hanna says the theft happened shortly before 3 a.m. at the Geaux Clean Car Wash on Braud Road on Monday, Dec. 28. Surveillance video captured two suspects in a light-colored sedan after the suspects stole about $70 from the quarter vending machine. Investigators said the tan or beige car’s front fender, front bumper and grille are burgundy or maroon in color.

Anyone with information on the theft is urged to contact the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225) 621-4636 or by texting 847411 to APSO’s anonymous tip line from any cellular device.
