Deputies investigating body found in DPW lot
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's investigators said they don't suspect foul play in the death of a man whose body was found in an East Baton Rouge Department of Public Works lot.
Deputies said the man's body was found around 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the North Maintenance Lot on Highway 19. The coroner removed the body and will perform an autopsy to determine cause of death.
Investigators said they believe the person may have been homeless. Deputies said they were continuing to investigate the situation.
