PRAIRIEVILLE – Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a group of burglaries that happened in the same area within two hours Monday.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to four burglar alarms between noon and 1:30 pm and found that thieves had kicked in or forced open back doors and stolen electronics and other valuables. Surveillance video nearby captured a white Chevrolet Impala with dark tinted windows and no license plate that investigators believe could be related to the crimes. Two people were in the car.
