Deputies investigate gift shop burglary
BATON ROUGE - Detectives with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office are looking for a man who burglarized a gift shop late last month.
Investigators say the man broke into the Daisy Nail Salon on the night of Apr. 26, entering through the back of the store located in a strip mall at 10449 Airline Hwy. Once inside of the salon, the subject climbed through the ceiling of the business to gain access to the Mercy-Mary Gift Shop next door.
Detectives discovered his route of entry when they noted the ceiling tiles moved aside in the salon's restroom.
According to deputies, several business documents of an undisclosed type were reported stolen from the gift shop.
Anyone with any information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is urged to call the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at (225)389-5064.
