Deputies identify victim in Summer Drive Shooting
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies have identified the victim in the Summer Drive shooting as 35-year-old D'Andre T. Smith.
The shooting happened just after noon. Deputies are still investigating the scene for clues
Deputies said Smith was shot and killed in the 5300 block of Summer Drive Thursday. Investigators said a fight involving two individuals led to the shots being fired.
Authorities were spread out around the neighborhood looking for the shooter who fled the scene in a grey Dodge Avenger, according to deputies.
Detectives say they believe an arrest in connection with the shooting will be made soon.
