East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man for producing Meth inside his car behind a McDonald’s on O’Neal Lane.

Lewis Blanche, 38, was arrested around 2:45 p.m. after deputies noticed his vehicle parked behind the McDonald’s. When deputies approached the car, they observed, in plain view, several items identified as precursors used in the production of Meth. Blanche was asleep inside the car.

The Haz Mat team recovered and removed several items, including: plastic containers containing suspected Methamphetamine residue, a jar containing suspected Coleman fuel, a plastic container containing suspected sulfuric acid, a coke bottle with a clear hose coming from the lid, a box of salt, several funnels containing a white residue and several lithium batteries.

Deputies also found a medicine bottle containing Amoxicillin and Sulfamethoxazole. Blanche could not provide deputies with a prescription for either.

He faces multiple charges.
