DENHAM SPRINGS - Narcotics agents made four arrests in a marijuana bust that they believe will cut down on drug trafficking in Livingston Parish.
Deputies arrested two women and two men Wednesday night after searching a residence on 9951 Spur Road in Denham Springs. Investigators said they found about 100 plants, more than 30 pounds of various types of marijuana, guns and cash at the home.
Deputies arrested the following people as part of the investigation, all of whom had the residence listed as their address:
Authorities also called the Department of Children and Family Services to take custody of a 15-year-old who was also living in the residence.
All four were charged with drug distribution and possession, as well as having drugs in the presence of a minor. White and Jones also face weapons charges.
Investigators estimated the total value of the seized marijuana at $394,000. They said more arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
