Denver pleads for Denver
DENVER, COLORADO- There is a call in Denver for vandals to return a bust of singer John Denver that disappeared during a Halloween party hosted by a radio station.
Someone pried the bronze bust off its base during KBPI's Saints and Sinners Ball on Tuesday and the station asked for it back. The bust is owned by the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and was donated by Denver's family when he became the hall's first inductee three-years ago.
Police say they have no leads.
The station wants whoever took it to return it undamaged to its studio, no questions asked.
