It is a mild and foggy morning across the Capital City. We have a Dense Fog Advisory for most of Southeast Louisiana, but it does not include the Metro Baton Rouge area. Visibilities could be less than 1/4 at times. Temperatures are in the lower 60s.
Today is going to be a transition day from the warm and sunny weather to a much colder weather pattern. A cold front will move closer to Baton Rouge this afternoon. We will see a mix of sun and clouds along with isolated showers and storms popping up. It will still be warm and humid ahead of the front with high temperatures in the lower 80s.
The cold front will sweep through Baton Rouge tonight and we will start to feel some of the colder air. It will be mostly cloudy with isolated showers. Low temperatures will dip into the upper 40s.
