DENHAM SPRINGS- A Denham Springs woman is asking for answers after she says fraudulent checks with her account numbers started popping up all over the Southeast.

Paulette Lacombe tells News 2 she's been notified of checks written under her account in Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi which she did not write.

News 2's Olivia LaBorde is talking to Lacombe and will have more on what you can do to avoid becoming a victim of check fraud.
