Denham Springs trailer park fight
DENHAM SPRINGS- Residents of a trailer park in Denham Springs are refusing to move out of the Magnolia Estates Neighborhood.
The travel trailers are set up like mobile homes off Lockhart Road.
The parish government says they're violating a parish law. The residents were given an eviction notice, stating they had to be out in 15 days.
One man who complained about the trailers, says they're lowering the property value of surrounding properties.
The eviction deadline was extended last night, but the residents say it doesn't matter because they're not moving.
