BATON ROUGE - LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye tweeted a picture of his cleats with the numbers of two friends and football players who died in a car crash before the season started this summer.

A small "27" and "3" appear at the heel of the cleat. Delahoussaye wrote on Twitter with the picture, "This is for my two boys, I got you guys always with me!"

The number 27 is for Nebraska punter Sam Foltz; the 3 is for former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler. Sadler and Foltz were killed in a fiery car crash, Delahoussaye survived.  The three were in a Mercedes that crashed into a tree and burst into flames after leaving a kicking camp outside of Milwaukee in July.

Delahoussaye was treated for second-degree burns following the crash.

Delahoussaye is a senior from New Iberia.
