Deflategate immortalized in chocolate
CANONSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA- There is now a chocolate football with a big dent in its side as a candy maker gets a big kick out of the New England Patriot's scandal over deflated footballs.
Its not for sale but was posted on Facebook as a joke and its called Bradie ball. Its spelled B-R-A-D-I-E to avoid legal issues. The caption says, "Net weight 13 lbs... Oops! We meant 11.2 lbs." The candy maker won't say how his ball got its deflated appearance but says "You'll have to ask the Patriots how they did it."
The NFL team and quarterback Tom Brady are accused of using under-inflated footballs in the AFC Championship game and face the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
