Deere lawn tractor recall
NEW YORK- More than 2,000 John Deere lawn tractors are being recalled because the brake arm can fail and cause a crash.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says there are no reports of injuries so far. The recall affects models D110, D125, D130,D140, D155, D160 and D170. The serial numbers begin with 1GXD and were sold at Home Depot, Lowe's and other stores.
About 1,700 were sold in the U.S. and cost between $1,700 and $2,700. Another 370 were sold in Canada. Deere says customers should stop using them and contact the company for a free repair.
