DALLAS- A serious storm spawned two tornadoes and killed multiple people Wednesday night.

There are reports of hospitals being put on alert to handle an influx of patients.

Damage, injuries, and more extreme reports began after strong storms ripped through Hood County, Texas, southwest of Fort Worth.

"It began to suck up debris, and I ran inside and got our people and children into a safer location," said Pastor Dean Porter, talking to Dallas-Fort Worth ABC affiliate WFAA.

Porter and members of his church were having a Bible study in Granbury when the storm ripped apart his community.

Weather warnings were continued into the 10 o'clock hour as others were cancelled. Read more about the unfolding weather situation on the WFAA damage blog.
