Deadly wreck under investigation

WALKER - An investigation is underway at this hour into a deadly head-on collision.
It happened just before 8 a.m. on LA 447 (Walker South Road) at Joe May in Walker.
State police say a Ford pickup heading north on the roadway;for some unknown reason veered off the road then hit another truck head on after over correcting.
Officials say the driver of the second vehicle died at the scene.
LA 447 at Joe May is shutdown until further notice.
