Deadly fire in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE - Fire investigators are trying to determine what sparked a deadly fire early Wednesday morning.
One person was killed when the fire broke out at a home on the 3700 block of Sycamore Street just off of Plank Road in Baton Rouge. Firefighters responded just before 2 am Wednesday.
Fire officials say it appears the homeowner was trying to stay warm, when things got out of control.
The victim's name has not been released.
