ALBANY - A deadly wreck closed an exit off I-12 West in Livingston Parish this afternoon.

State Police said the driver of a pickup lost control while exiting I-12 at Albany. They said his vehicle ran off the road and crashed, and the driver died at the scene.

The wreck closed the exit ramp off I-12 West at La. 43.

State Police did not release the name of the driver, or say how long it would be before the exit ramp is back open.
