Deadly crash, alcohol suspected
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge police say one female was killed in a single car crash at around 9:15 Saturday night.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition after she struck a tree on I-110 near Scenic Hwy. The passenger died from injuries.
Police say the passenger in the vehicle was an unidentified 18 to 25 year old female. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials believe alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
