PASCAGOULA, Miss - A deadbeat dad has pleaded guilty to failure to pay child support and received a 3 1/2-year suspended sentence plus orders to immediately pay back $2,020 of the $15,000 owed in the case.

Attorney General Jim Hood tells The Sun Herald 50-year-old Harry Mark Gonsoulin Jr. of Biloxi entered the plea Monday before Circuit Court Judge Robert Krebs.

Krebs also ordered Gonsoulin to pay an additional $300 a month in child support until he's paid his back child support in full.
